About Me

Hey! I’m Caitlin Tills. My writing services include essays, researched articles, sales letters, and email sequences, usually centered on food, health, and life outdoors. I’m always open to new formats, so don’t hesitate to ask!

Originally from Massachusetts, I recently relocated to Santa Clarita, CA. My passion for working outdoors has brought me to some pretty cool places and people. I volunteered through WWOOF, working at Sweden’s first CSA and an exotic fruit orchard on Kauai. Biggest avocados I’ve ever seen!

I’ve worked as a fine gardener, a cannabis cultivator, and a farm worker, too. Basically, any job that gets me working with plants: I’m in. I’ve been passionate about the local food movement for about 10 years, and I’ve done a lot of digging so you don’t have to. (See what I did there?)

I love to write about food, health, & travel, and I’m inspired by the things I’ve picked up doing hands-on horticultural work in the field.

I'm finishing a BA in English Literature and Criticism at UMass Dartmouth, where an essay of mine placed 2nd in a department-wide competition. My literary training means I know how to build a compelling argument that engages the reader, even in a long-form piece.
